Pipe markers label is a marker that serves to identify a material contained in the pipe. The pipe label with a green base color is used to provide information about any substances contained in the pipe. It is also equipped with arrows that are useful for marking the direction of the airflow. Pipe labels are usually attached at every bend of the pipe, pipe joints, pipes that pass through the wall, and are installed at intervals of 7 – 15 meters.
Positive identification of the piping system including the marker part must be adjusted to the provisions of the background color and letters that apply. There is a rule that even giving names in full or abbreviated form inside pipe markers must be observed.
Pipe marker arrows should be used to indicate the direction of flow of liquid or pipe contents. If flow can occur in both directions, arrows in both directions arrows to the left and right should be displayed. Contents should be identified with adequate additional details such as temperature, pressure, etc.
all of the provisions of the pipe markers previously mentioned are needed to identify the hazards of each component that is in the pipe itself.
